it's always nice to get something fun to do that needs no invention other than assigning of parts and as such I am delighted to be working with the Rackenford Rascals again and putting together music for their concert in support of the Devon Air Ambulance.

Things have been pretty hectic since moving back to Wales. The house sale is still taking an age so work on building our own home is on pause - on the plus side this means lots of time for musical activities!
I've been appointed conductor of Crwbin Silver Band for the forthcoming Welsh Regional Brass Band Festival and I couldn't be more proud of the efforts the band has gone to to get to grips with the test piece, Facets of Glass. We are in great shape with nearly two months to go and looking forward to a fantastic day in the Brangwyn Hall. Compositions I am working on at the moment include my submission for the Cory Composition Competition, a piece for Wind Band called New England Hauntings and a work for a string ensemble in America. Snippets of all works to be posted soon! |
