Y Barcud Coch (The Red Kite) will be played by Crwbin during their entertainment programme at the National Eisteddfod at the end of July. The work, inspired by the beauty of these magnificent birds takes the listener on a musical jouurny through the air; gliding, wheeling, swooping and chasing while also referencing their fragility and continued persecution from those who see them as a pest.
The work will feature in a programme also containing music by John Williams, Mozart and Alan Fernie.
